What terrain do I need?

Trench Crusade is played on tables dense with terrain. You'll need plenty of trenches, ruined buildings, craters, and scatter terrain (barricades, barbed wire) to create a proper battlefield with plenty of cover.

Is this official terrain?

No, these are community-made designs. While perfectly themed for the setting (WWI + Medieval/Occult), they are third-party creations.

What scale is best?

Standard 28mm-32mm scale terrain works best. Most STLs here are designed for this scale, but can be resized in your slicer if needed.

Resin or FDM?

Most terrain is best printed in FDM (filament) for durability and cost, but smaller, detailed pieces like scatter terrain can look great in Resin.

How do I search?

Use the tags filter to find specific types like 'Trenches', 'Ruins', or 'Scatter'. You can also search by creator name.

Open fields can make less fun miniature gaming if there is quite much ranged action going on! To mitigate the ultimate power of ranged weaponry, you can create more cover into the battlefield by utilizing this Crater + Fortified Craters Set! Each crater is designed for nice gameplay without sacrificing the visual look and feel. The edges are thin enough without too long and deep slopes and the insides of the craters are relatively even - this makes moving miniatures around and placing them inside the crater much smoother experience. The set also includes fortified crater clusters - these craters are fortified with sandbags and battlefield debris, creating some additional cover and more visual interest. To create even more variation from the set, just upscale or downscale the single craters or clusters to have literally UNLIMITED amount of craters. The set includes:- 3x Single craters: Small, medium and large crater- 3x Crater clusters: small, medium and large- 3x Fortified Crater Clusters: small, medium and large Scale: 28-32mm Size information: Smallest single crater (76x75x15mm) Largest single crater (150x159x29mm) - Largest cluster (208x179x28mm). Printability: FDM recommended. Test printed on FDM / prints support free. Pre-supported files and Lychee files are included - not test printed on resin. No assembly required.
